Salt; your friend and your enemy.

As we all know, the passion we enjoy so much is surrounded by the highly corrosive liquid, called the ocean. With the right care and diligence you can be left unscathed by the harmful factors that the ocean and the salt can have on your boat such as;

Baked in salt crystalization

and much much more.

We have a little trick to help you keep that salt from ruining some of your prized items.

Theres a miracle product called "salt away". This blue liquid actually penetrates the salt molecules at the source and leaves the surface virtually salt free.

Practical uses for salt away are:

Rinsing your boat after a long journey with salt away, you attach a fitting onto your hose end and it allows you to spray salt away and a water mixure onto the surface, with a small twist of the knob you can just spray water. So ideally you spray the areas with the salt away / water mixture, then you spray off the mixture with pure water, this works really well!

Another great use is when flushing your tenders / jet skis or boats. Having a salt away add-on to your hose fitting that fits onto your flushing intake area will allow you to use this miracle product to rid the insides of your machine of harmful salt build up.

Another great method to rid the surface of salt is to throw some distilled vinegar into your wash bucket on wash downs, the vinegar breaks down the salt much quicker then the soap and does now harm the surfaces.

So next time your out for a long journey pick up a bottle of salt away and the specialty sprayer, you will be thankful to have it on board!
